Golf Course Closed - Update

Updated: Nov 11, 2020

On March 18th, in accordance with the Sonoma County Shelter in Place Order, we closed the golf course to the general public. Effective March 24th the Sonoma County Health Officer ordered the closure of all parks, beaches and trails to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19).

UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF CALIFORNIA HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE SECTIONS 101040, 101085, AND 120175, THE HEALTH OFFICER OF THE COUNTY OF SONOMA (“HEALTH OFFICER”) ORDERS: ....

7. Effective at 12:00 a.m. on March 24, 2020, and remaining in effect until this order is rescinded, amended, or superseded in writing by the Health Officer, all parks located within Sonoma County shall be closed to the public.

8. “Park” means an area of land, beach or water open to the public for recreation, including walking, hiking, biking, relaxing, boating, and playing, regardless of ownership.

9. Paved multi-use pathways outside of park boundaries remain open except to bicycles and horses.

In response to these orders we believe the most responsible action to take is complete closure of the golf course, March 24. The closure order now applies to members and guests. Closure notices have been posted at the Pro Shop, and on the golf course and we ask for your cooperation to help prevent the spread of this quickly spreading virus.

The order will remain in effect until rescinded, amended, or superseded by the Health Officer.
