New Bluewater Bistro Schedule
It is with heavy hearts, tired bodies, and the approval of the Board that we are announcing new changes to Bluewater Bistro. Starting September the twenty-eighth, the restaurant will be open five days a week instead of seven. Tuesday and Wednesday the Bistro will be closed for business. We have been operating with the assumption that more people would be looking to return to the work force. However, we have more staff that is transitioning out than in. Our goal is to eventually open the lounge each of the five days. Right now we are open for DINE-IN upstairs in our lounge from 12-8p on Fridays and Saturdays only. We are keeping the Snack Shack open daily. We have given everything that we could to keep the doors open seven days a week, but the reality is that we need to consolidate our efforts and focus on the busiest days that we have. We would like to thank Anna Taylor, our General Manager, Kathy Duran (former Board President), Jennie Alexich (current Board President), and everyone else that has supported us during these difficult times. It is truly a blessing to work for people that have hearts filled with compassion. We look forward to having people in to enjoy the lounge more. We all know it is the best place to watch the sunset in Bodega Bay.

All owners are encouraged to participate in our HOA. They are invited to attend our regular meetings, as well as participate in committees and serve in our elected positions. Our HOA guidelines are aligned with the mandates of the California Coastal Commission, which provides homeowners to maintain and improve their properties, without having to directly interface with that governing body...a significant advantage, for those who are familiar with life along the California Coast. The HOA is also fully transparent, and our residents have a say in all major decisions. We’re enhancing community living, one resident at a time.
WHO WE ARE
With over 700 homes, our community HOA is managed by home owners, and is assisted by Kemper Sports, which provides the corporate infrastructure to maintain the staffing for the golf course management, restaurant services and to address legal issues, as needed. They provide management advice based on their experience with over 130 facilities, nationwide.
Kemper Sports began full management of the Bodega Harbour’s HOA, clubhouse, dining and golf course experience in 2005. This premier coastal community is situated in Sonoma County, boasting over 700 homes featuring an 18-hole Robert Trent Jones Jr. golf course with ocean views, clubhouse, fitness center, tennis, aquatics and two dining outlets.
